One day I saw a white-tailed female deer standing in my husband’s flower and vegetable garden in our backyard. She had just eaten the last tomato from the vine planted just beyond the rose bush! She was doing what her everyday life prompted her to do, feed and take care of herself.
The beautiful deer became instantly alerted to the clicking sound of my camera. I was trying to capture the splendor of the moment. Her eyes opened wide, and her ears stiffened and slightly twitched as she evaluated her situation. She had no clue that in her moment of fear, beautiful flowers framed her. She quickly ran to her private place, somewhere in the green thickets at the edge of the yard.
Is it possible that God sees us through blossoms of potential and destiny as we go about our everyday lives? Yes, He does. After all, God did create us in His image. Every life is essential and destined for greatness. He invites us to experience a life of intimacy and communion with Him.
F. B. Meyer said, “The faithful fulfillment of the commonplaces of daily life is the best preparation for any great demand that may suddenly break in upon our lives.”
“He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithfulin much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16:10 AMP
What we are in our private life, we are in public.
